Their latest advancement is the Cosworth CNC Ported Big Valve Cylinder head range. Modified from OE cylinder head castings, substantial gas flow improvements and upgraded valve train components offer superior performance for your high performance engine.Each original cylinder head design is carefully evaluated and tested to establish the improvements required to meet the target performance level. Hours of testing and flow bench validation are used to determine the best advanced port design yielding maximum usable power and response. However, there is more to cylinder design than just maximum flow. It is critical that port velocity is maintained to ensure drivability and valve train components are matched to guarantee reliable performance. Once all of these factors have been tested and validated, the final port contour is digitized. Using the digitized program, we then reshape both intake and exhaust ports using a 5 axis CNC mill producing and accurate and consistent port shape every time. In addition to re-shaping and enlarging the intake and exhaust ports, most Big Valve Cylinder heads feature a re-shaped combustion chamber to un-shroud the valves increasing air flow and performance. After machining, each cylinder head is ultrasonically cleaned, serialized and then hand assembled with select high performance valve train components, ready to install on you engine. Edelbrock E-Street Cylinder Head for Ford Small Block 5023

This E-Street cylinder head is an all new line of Edelbrock heads designed for entry-level street performance engines, ideal for operating in the idle to 5,500 rpm range. Manufactured in the USA, by Edelbrock, these heads feature A356 aluminum castings that are heat treated to T-6 spec for superior casting strength and quality. Their modern combustion chamber designs improve the combustion process and larger than stock intake and exhaust ports move more air through your engine. These features improve an engine's efficiency, resulting in more horsepower and torque and improved mileage potential. Dyno tests showed a gain of 16 hp and 11 ft/lbs of torque over our overseas competitor.

Every E-Street is assembled with manganese bronze valve guides, powder metal interlocking valve seats, stainless steel one-piece valves with hardened tips, 1.25" diameter valve springs, 3/8" screw-in studs and guide plates. Additional qualities include hardened spring cups for long-term wear protection and Heli-coil threaded inserts in the rocker stud bosses for increased strength; these are the details that most low-cost competitors leave out of their heads. All E-Street cylinder heads are sold in pairs and Made in the USA.
