BMW Reconditioned / Remanufactured Cylinder head. E39 540 M62 Engine. Part # 11121702374 Cylinder 1 to 4 ?The head has been cleaned thoroughly in a chemical to remove all dirt grime and deposits; we do not blast or use abrasive cleaners on these Aluminum head. ?All parts have been thoroughly dimensional inspected, if they are borderline or outside of the manufacture specifications they are replaced (including springs, Valve guides, valves ect...) ?The head has been penetrant tested for cracks. ?All valve seats angles have been cut to OEM specifications. ?New Original Genuine valve seals manufactured by Hebmuller for BMW are installed. (This is the most important part of this reconditioned process, competitors tend to use aftermarket seals and not original seals which may tend to dry or harden prematurely. Which will call for another rebuild. ?This head will fit all vehicles as listed below ?This head will come with a 1-year warranty. ?There is a $ 100.00 Core charge included in the price for the core. Once yo return your old head in rebuildable condition I will refund 0.00. I will pay for return shipping. I will include a return label for your head. If you are using BMW Original gasket set for your rebuild, I would request the valve stem seals, other wise I don't need them, If you return the seals with the head I will credit you an additional 25.00. Once I receive your core and seals and determine the core is rebuildable I will refund you the $ 125.00. The Edelbrock Performer RPM 454-O Street Cylinder Heads are oval port heads that will support over 540 hp with 9.5:1 compression when used as part of the Total Power Package. These street high-performance heads provide out-of-the-box, bolt-on performance with no additional porting required. They offer improved power throughout the RPM range for great throttle response and top-end horsepower . The intake and exhaust runners are CNC-profiled for superior flow and performance. This unique intake port design produces flow, close to rectangular port heads, but with the smaller port size and velocity of an oval port for excellent seat-of-the-pants performance and crisp throttle response. The semi-open chamber design maximizes combustion efficiency with streetable compression ratios. The stainless steel 2.19" intake and 1.88" exhaust valves have smaller-than-stock 11/32" valve stems to promote excellent flow and lighter valve weight. The deck surface and water jackets were specially designed to work with all big-block engine blocks. The heads include top-quality ARP rocker studs, bronze guides and hardened, ductile iron valve seats.
